Rewe Team Challenge in Dresden
Over 28,000 runners and a great experience along the Elbe to the Dynamo Stadium
The Rewe Team Challenge is an annual company run in Dresden in which teams of four people complete a 5 km course through the historic old town, along the River Elbe and into the impressive Dynamo Stadium. On 12 June 2024, around 28,500 runners gathered in glorious weather to experience a sporting and entertaining event together.
The event has now developed into one of the largest company runs in Germany. Teams from a wide variety of companies take the opportunity to strengthen their team spirit and get involved in sporting activities. The run traditionally starts in the picturesque old town of Dresden, runs along the River Elbe and ends with a grand finale in the Dynamo Stadium, where the participants are greeted by cheering spectators.
Our company was represented by a total of six teams. The enthusiasm and the joy of running were clearly noticeable. Not only the impressive number of participants and the beautiful route make the Rewe Team Challenge a special experience, but also the excellent organisation and the great atmosphere along the entire route. Musicians and spectators lined the running route and created a motivating atmosphere.
The Rewe Team Challenge is more than just a company run; it is a celebration of cohesion, exercise and the joy of doing sport together. Participation is not only an enrichment for sporting activity, but also for social interaction within the company. Many companies see the run as an ideal opportunity to strengthen team dynamics and achieve a common goal.
Overall, the Rewe Team Challenge 2024 was a complete success and we are already looking forward to the next edition of this great event.
